Captain Ian and his wife, Chef/Mate Polly, have been a couple for over thirteen years. They have been successfully working in the charter yacht industry for the last 6 of those. They take pride in tailoring the daily itinerary to the needs and desires of each group for your perfect holiday. Being creative people who have a friendly and laid back disposition and a professional attitude, will make you feel totally at home while on board. They will enjoy the opportunity to share with you their love of adventure and gastromity; mixing together great food and wine, amazing locations and a love of the life on the sea.

Captain Ian has been sailing since the age of 13, when he started working as a dinghy instructor on the south coast of England. He spent his late teens and early twenties working on a beautiful Victorian Gaff Cutter. His location in the South West of England has given him great access to cross-channel sailing and the Irish Sea. After completing a degree in Music, focussing on jazz piano, composition and sound recording, Ian spent some time working as a sound engineer on feature films. His yachting experience has also taken him to the Caribbean, Australia and the Mediterranean. He is a RYA/MCA Commercial Yachtmaster. His love of the outdoors makes him the ideal host for a snorkel trip or hike ashore and his years of sailing in a wide variety of exotic locations has given him many favourite anchorages that he enjoys sharing with guests.

Chef/Mate Polly grew up in rural Devon, UK spending her time exploring the south coast of England by sea. After completing a degree in English, Polly left her busy office job to combine her love of cooking with sailing. She honed her culinary skills by training to be a Yacht Chef with a UK Masterchef. She loves to use fresh ingredients and herbs in all her cooking and will readily accommodate individual tastes and preferences. Polly produces beautifully presented delicious food, with devilish desserts her particular speciality.
